The U8978 4ch Analog Unit is a 4-channel voltage measurement module for the memory recorders MR6000, MR6000-01, MR8740T, MR8847A, and MR8848. It enables high-resolution multi-channel voltage measurement via four BNC input terminals with 16-bit A/D conversion, a measurement range starting from 100 mV f.s., and a sampling rate of up to 5 MS/s with simultaneous sampling across 4 channels. Typical applications include multi-channel measurement of low-voltage signals, current measurement in combination with suitable current sensors, and development of control systems for vehicle auxiliaries. In combination with the CT6711 Multi-Range Current Probe, the U8978 can also be used for current measurements from 1 mA to 50 A. The 8968 High Resolution Unit is a 2-channel high-resolution voltage input module for the memory recorders MR6000, MR6000-01, MR8847A, MR8848, MR8827 and MR8740T. It expands the recorder with two electrically isolated voltage input channels optimized for precise and stable signal acquisition. The module features 16-bit A/D conversion and supports simultaneous sampling on both channels at up to 1 MS/s. The higher amplitude resolution, combined with the sampling rate, enables more detailed analysis of signal changes in both amplitude and time domains compared to standard analog input modules. With a frequency bandwidth of DC to 100 kHz (–3 dB), the unit is designed for detailed waveform analysis where high resolution is more critical than maximum speed. It enables accurate measurement of frequency, rotational speed (RPM), pulse width and duty ratio via two electrically isolated input channels. With a measurement range for pulse and frequency signals from very low frequencies up to 100 kHz, the module supports reliable acquisition of repetitive and pulse-based signals. In addition to frequency and RPM measurement, integration and pulse counting functions allow evaluation of accumulated events such as total rotations or pulses from flow meters, supporting detailed system analysis. The module also supports encoder signal measurement, allowing evaluation of rotational speed and position from incremental encoder outputs. A dedicated power frequency measurement mode enables precise monitoring of 50 Hz, 60 Hz and 400 Hz power systems. The U8979 Charge Unit is a 2-channel acceleration measurement module for the memory recorders MR6000, MR6000-01, MR8848, MR8827, and MR8740T. It enables acceleration measurement with charge-output acceleration sensors and acceleration sensors with a built-in preamplifier. In addition, the module can be used for the measurement and recording of torque and vibration signals. The module provides one BNC input and one miniature connector for charge input per channel. It also supports TEDS-compatible sensors for automatic sensitivity setting. Typical applications include vibration measurement on machines and assemblies as well as frequency analysis of torque and vibration signals using the recorder’s FFT function. The 8973 Logic Unit is a logic signal measurement module for the memory recorders MR6000, MR6000-01, MR8740T, MR8740, MR8741, MR8827, MR8847A and MR8848. It enables acquisition and analysis of digital logic signals using HIOKI logic probes. The module provides four probe inputs. With HIOKI logic probes providing four measurement channels per probe, up to 16 logic channels can be realized per module.Multiple logic units can be installed simultaneously to expand the number of digital channels in the measurement system. The module uses mini-DIN connectors for HIOKI logic probes (sold separately), allowing simultaneous monitoring of multiple digital signals.
