The 8967 Temp Unit is a 2-channel temperature input module for the memory recorders MR6000, MR6000-01, MR8847A, MR8848, MR8827, MR8740, MR8741 and MR8740T. It expands these instruments with two thermocouple measurement channels and is designed for precise temperature monitoring in laboratory, development and industrial measurement applications.
The module supports a wide range of thermocouple types including K, J, E, T, N, R, S, B and W, enabling flexible temperature measurements across various environments and applications. Reference junction compensation can be configured for internal or external operation, ensuring reliable temperature measurements under different installation conditions. Included two ferrite clamps help suppress high-frequency noise on thermocouple leads and improve measurement stability in electrically noisy environments.
Typical applications include thermal testing, temperature monitoring in electronic systems, environmental testing and long-term temperature recording in research and development.
