The 9132-50 is designed for AC current measurements from 20 A to 1000 A AC and provides 6 selectable ranges with a 0.2 V AC full scale voltage output. The clamp operates without external power and is suitable for CAT III 600 V measurement environments. Frequency bandwidth is specified at 1 kHz. The enlarged jaw design is intended for larger conductors and busbars. The clamp is designed for round conductors up to 55 mm in diameter and busbars up to 80 × 20 mm, supporting applications in distribution systems and industrial installations. Signal transmission is realized through a fixed 3 m BNC cable. The clamp can be used with instruments offering a compatible AC voltage input, including multimeters, recorders and data acquisition platforms. When used with HIOKI digital multimeters that support clamp input, connection is made via the optional 9704 BNC adapter. The appropriate clamp range can be selected on the multimeter, allowing the measured value to be displayed directly in amperes.
