The Z5200 is a dedicated 19", 1U rack-mount terminal box for the D/A output of a PW4001 or PW8001 Power Analyzer. It transfers voltage and current waveform signals as well as trend values of calculated measurement parameters to a DAQ system such as a Memory Recorder or an oscilloscope.
The D/A output allows continuous monitoring of the measured signals, with the option to set triggers so that data is only saved when specific events occur. The output can be configured for two signal types: waveforms of the measured voltages and currents, or trend values of numerical items calculated by the power analyzer (e.g. U1rms, I1dc, P1).
The Z5200 is particularly well suited to production testing, where the power analyzer and DAQ system are integrated into a 19" test rack, keeping all instruments fixed in place and the interconnections neat.
