Product information L9842-22 - Test Lead Cable Reel, red, 20 m

The HIOKI L9842-22 is a 20 m red test lead on cable reel. In the earth measurement setup, it is typically used as the lead for the current probe. The fixed crocodile clip is designed for connection to auxiliary earth spikes and opens up to 8 mm. Mechanical combination with the L9846 Earth Nets Module is also possible. 

The cable reel has approximate dimensions of 28 × 18 × 5 cm in height, width and depth and is therefore flatter than the cable reels of the L9845 series. One end of the lead is equipped with a 4 mm safety plug for connection to the measuring instrument, while the other end has a fixed crocodile clip. The foldable winding handle makes it easier to rewind the test lead after use. 

Holders for auxiliary earth spikes type L9840 are available, allowing the test lead and earth spike to be carried together.

With a lead resistance in the range of 100 mΩ per meter, the L9842-22 is suitable for earth measurements where lead resistance does not significantly affect the measurement. The test lead is not suitable for low resistance measurements.
