The HIOKI L9843-52 is a 50 m red test lead with flat winding board for measurement setups with large distances between the test object and the auxiliary electrode. It is an accessory for the FT6041, FT6041-91 and FT6031-50 Earth Testers and is typically used as the lead for the current probe in the earth measurement setup.

One end of the lead is equipped with a 4 mm safety plug for connection to the measuring instrument, while the other end has a fixed crocodile clip designed for connection to auxiliary earth spikes and opening up to 8 mm. 

With a lead length of 50 m, the L9843-52 is suited to measurement setups with large distances between the test object and the auxiliary electrode. The flat winding board provides orderly lead storage and handling and allows simple transport without a cable reel.

The lead resistance of the L9843-52 is in the range of 100 mΩ per meter. This makes the test lead suitable for earth measurements where lead resistance does not significantly affect the measurement. The test lead is not suitable for low resistance measurements.
