The HIOKI 9050 Earth Nets are an accessory for earth measurements on hard surfaces such as concrete where auxiliary grounding rods cannot be inserted directly. The earth nets are placed on the surface and moistened with water to establish electrical contact with the surface. The earth spike used for the measurement is then placed on the moistened net.
Supplied as a set of two earth nets measuring 30 × 30 cm, the 9050 can be used with test leads on flat winding boards such as L9843 or with separately routed test leads. Unlike the L9846 Earth Nets Module, which is designed to attach to cable reel test leads L9842 and L9845, the 9050 are not limited to this type of lead arrangement.
They are compatible with the FT6031-50 and FT6041 Earth Testers and can also be used with earlier Earth Tester models such as FT3151 and FT6031-03. Designed for use with HIOKI Earth Testers, compatibility with earth testers or installation testers from other manufacturers is not guaranteed.
