The MR8791 Pulse Generator Unit is an 8-channel pulse signal generation module for the memory recorders MR6000, MR6000-01, MR8740T, MR8740, MR8741, MR8827, MR8847A and MR8848. It generates configurable pulse signals for testing digital control systems and switching applications. 

The unit enables adjustable pulse widths, repetition rates and output voltage levels for evaluating trigger circuits, timing behavior and switching responses. Synchronized operation with recorder acquisition channels allows detailed analysis of system reactions to defined pulse stimuli.

Typical applications include trigger verification, PWM simulation, digital interface testing and timing analysis in embedded and power electronic systems.

The U8793 Arbitrary Waveform Generator Unit is a 2-channel signal generation module for the memory recorders MR6000, MR6000-01, MR8848, MR8827, MR8740, MR8741 and MR8740T. It supports both function generator and arbitrary waveform generator operation for outputting defined and user-defined waveforms. The unit generates DC, sine, square, pulse, triangular and ramp waveforms in a frequency range from 10 mHz to 100 kHz. In arbitrary mode, waveforms are output from measured data or external sources. Supported formats include CSV, TXT, WFG and TFG files, as well as data from Hioki instruments and the SF8000 Waveform Maker software. Signal output uses a 16-bit D/A converter with a refresh rate of 2 MHz. The output voltage ranges from −10 V to +15 V with an amplitude setting from 0 to 20 Vp-p and a resolution of 1 mV. The maximum output current is 10 mA with a minimum load of 1.5 kΩ. Sweep functions for frequency, amplitude, offset and duty (pulse only) are supported. A program function with up to 128 steps and loop function is available. The unit also provides a self-test function and external input/output control. Typical applications Typical applications include reproduction of recorded waveforms and their output for testing purposes.
