The 9784 DC Power Unit is a factory-installed option for the MR8848 Memory Recorder that enables operation from a DC power source instead of conventional AC mains. Accepting a wide input range from 10 to 28 V DC, it supports deployment in mobile and remote environments without reliable AC infrastructure.
Thanks to its compatibility with standard 12 V automotive and 24 V truck batteries, the MR8848 can be conveniently powered from vehicles in the field. This increases flexibility for mobile testing scenarios and ensures continuous operation even in harsh or infrastructure-limited conditions – without the need for external converters or AC supply.
Note: The 9784 is a factory option and must be specified at the time the MR8848 is ordered. Retrofitting is not possible. DC operation is only supported if the unit is configured with the 9784 during manufacturing.
