This unit expands the built-in storage capacity and enables real-time recording directly to the SSD with a maximum sampling speed of 20 MS/s, when used with the MR6000-01 model. The SSD option must be ordered together with the main instrument at the time of purchase. For installation at a later stage, the main instrument must be sent to a HIOKI service center.

Z5021 Probe Power Unit 


The Z5021 Probe Power Unit simplifies the integration of current sensors and differential probes by providing power to up to 8 current probes or differential probes directly. This reduces the complexity of your measurement setups significantly.

Z5021
Z5021 - Power supply unit for current or differential probes, factory option for MR6000
The Z5021 Probe Power Unit for the MR6000 Memory Recorder is a factory-installed option designed to provide power to up to eight current probes or clamps from the CT670x or 327x Series. Additionally, the Z5021 supports up to four CT6710 or CT6711 current clamps. For applications requiring higher voltages the Z5021 can power up to eight 9322 or up to three P9000 Differential Probes. It delivers a stable output voltage of ±12 V DC and a rated output current of 0.6 A per terminal. The Z5021 must be ordered together with the main instrument at the time of purchase. For an installation at a later stage, the main instrument needs to be sent to a HIOKI service center.

2. Current modules

HIOKI offers two designated modules for current measurement. HIOKI current clamps and sensors with ME15W or PL23 connectors can be directly plugged and powered through the modules. The current clamps and sensors are automaitcally recognized by the MR6000-01. The wide range of current sensing solutions is further extended by combining the analog units with BNC current sensors (e.g. CT671x Series).
