The U8794 VIR Generator Unit is an 8-channel generator module exclusively for the HIOKI MR8740T Memory Recorder. The module outputs DC voltage, DC current and simulated resistance, and is used for simulation tests in place of sensor outputs.
For resistance output, the module measures the connected voltage and calculates the output current according to the set resistance value. This allows resistance-based sensor signals to be simulated, for example in test systems using the MR8740T.
The output channels are isolated from each other and from the chassis. Output cords are not included and must be selected separately.
