The possibility to combine different modules enables the acquisition of both electrical and physical signals with flexible channel counts and signal combinations with a single DAQ system. 

The HIOKI module portfolio covers a wide range of signal types and requirements, including current measurement and high-speed signal recording, strain measurement, temperature and heat-flow monitoring, as well as acceleration, vibration analysis and CAN in and output. For Memory Recorders, the range also includes output modules for signal generation and simulation in addition to input modules.

It expands these instruments with two electrically isolated voltage input channels and is designed for high-speed, multi-channel measurements in development, testing and analysis applications. With a maximum sampling rate of up to 20 MS/s and a frequency bandwidth of DC to 5 MHz (–3 dB), the module is suited for capturing fast signal transitions and transient events in power electronics, control systems and general waveform analysis. Multiple measurement ranges up to 400 V DC enable flexible integration into various measurement environments. Reference junction compensation can be configured for internal or external operation, ensuring reliable temperature measurements under different installation conditions. It expands the recorder with two electrically isolated voltage input channels optimized for precise and stable signal acquisition. The module features 16-bit A/D conversion and supports simultaneous sampling on both channels at up to 1 MS/s. The higher amplitude resolution, combined with the sampling rate, enables more detailed analysis of signal changes in both amplitude and time domains compared to standard analog input modules. With a frequency bandwidth of DC to 100 kHz (–3 dB), the unit is designed for detailed waveform analysis where high resolution is more critical than maximum speed. Twelve measurement ranges from 5 mV/div to 20 V/div allow accurate measurement of low-level signals as well as higher voltage inputs. The maximum allowable input voltage is 400 V DC between input terminals, with isolation up to 300 V AC/DC to ground. It enables acquisition and analysis of digital logic signals using HIOKI logic probes. The module provides four probe inputs. With HIOKI logic probes providing four measurement channels per probe, up to 16 logic channels can be realized per module.Multiple logic units can be installed simultaneously to expand the number of digital channels in the measurement system.
