HIOKI Phase Sequence Testers – Safe Testing in Three-Phase Systems
How do non-contact phase sequence testers improve safety?
Phase sequence testers – also referred to as phase rotation testers, phase indicators, or phase rotation meters – are essential tools for electricians, service technicians, and commissioning engineers. They verify the correct phase order, detect wiring errors, and help prevent equipment damage in three-phase networks.
All HIOKI phase sequence testers use non-contact voltage clamps. This measurement method allows measurements to be performed directly on insulated conductors without exposing live parts. Phase checks therefore become faster, safer, and possible even in situations where direct electrical contact would normally require higher qualifications or additional protective measures.
