Description
The BNC connectors feature insulated plastic housings that embed the outer contact of the
connector in an insulating body. This prevents accidental contact with grounded metal parts
and increases electrical safety in measurement setups with higher voltages. The cable meets
measurement category ratings of CAT III 300 V and CAT II 600 V.
A ferrite element on the cable increases the impedance for high-frequency common-mode
currents on the cable shield and helps reduce interference in measurement setups with fast
switching signals such as inverter or motor tests.
The cable is intended for signal transmission between measurement instruments with BNC
interfaces. Typical examples include connecting the BNC output of a current sensor interface
to an oscilloscope or memory recorder, transmitting synchronization signals between
instruments, or connecting the output of a high-voltage divider to a power analyzer.
The L9217-01 is manufactured in Japan.
