In Detail:
The Hioki 9657-10 is an AC current sensor designed for measuring low-level currents and leakage currents in electrical installations, with a nominal current range of up to 10 A and a maximum continuous current of 30 A. The output signal is specified at 100 mV/A. These characteristics allow for the detection of small current levels using measurement devices with appropriately matched input sensitivity.

The phase accuracy of the 9657-10 is specified as ±3° at 50/60 Hz for currents of 1 A and above. It is therefore suitable for applications where the phase relationship between current and voltage needs to be taken into account. Its design minimizes the influence of external magnetic fields and supports stable measurement results under typical installation conditions. Equipped with a BNC output, it can be used with devices that provide voltage inputs, such as power analyzers, power loggers, or data loggers. 

It is suitable for leakage current measurement on protective earth conductors, current monitoring in single-phase and three-phase systems, and the detection of intermittent leakage currents when used with appropriate recording instruments. Due to its compact form factor, the sensor can be installed in control cabinets and distribution boards. The sensor is designed in accordance with EN 61010 and EN 61326.
