The U8969 Strain Unit is a 2-channel module for strain measurement for the memory recorders MR6000, MR6000-01, MR8848, MR8827, MR8740, MR8741 and MR8740T. It enables measurement of strain signals using strain gauge bridge circuits with electronic auto-balancing. The module supports strain gauge transducers with bridge impedances from 120 Ω to 1 kΩ and a bridge voltage of 2 V. The measurement range covers ±10,000 µε with 16-bit resolution. Simultaneous sampling of both channels is performed at up to 200 kS/s. Integrated low-pass filters (5 Hz, 10 Hz, 100 Hz, 1 kHz) and a frequency characteristic from DC to 20 kHz enable measurement of static and dynamic strain signals.
Typical applications include structural load testing, fatigue analysis, material testing, and analysis of mechanical deformation in multi-channel measurement systems.
