The MR8790 Waveform Generator Unit is a 4-channel signal generation module for the memory recorders MR6000, MR6000-01, MR8740T, MR8740, MR8741, MR8827, MR8847A and MR8848. It generates DC and sine wave signals that can be used as stimulus signals in measurement and test systems. 

The module supports synchronized signal output alongside multi-channel acquisition, allowing correlation of generated signals with measured voltage, current or logic signals. Adjustable amplitude and frequency parameters enable flexible signal generation for development, validation and functional testing tasks.
