In detail:
The Hioki 9694 is a compact clamp-on current probe designed for AC current measurements up to 5 A in low-voltage circuits. Rated CAT III for AC voltages up to 300 V rms, it is suitable for use in power distribution systems, inverter-driven equipment, and installations with limited space, such as control cabinets. The current probe accommodates conductors up to 15 mm in diameter and operates reliably within an ambient temperature range of 0 °C to 50 °C.
It supports continuous current measurements up to 50 A AC in the frequency range from 45 Hz to 66 Hz. Basic amplitude accuracy is ±0.3% of reading, while phase accuracy is ±2° between 45 Hz and 5 kHz. In the extended frequency range from 40 Hz to 5 kHz, amplitude deviation is ±1%.
The output signal of 10 mV/A is delivered via a fixed 3-meter cable with BNC connector, suitable for voltage-input instruments such as the Hioki PW3360 and PW3365.
