Detailed Product Overview

The 9465-11 test leads are designed for precise DC four-terminal resistance measurements with the HIOKI RM3548 and RM3548-50 resistance meters. With a total cable length of 3.9 m for the black lead and approximately 2.0 m for the red lead, the 9465-11 provides convenient access to measurement points positioned farther apart.

From the instrument connector, the red and black leads are joined over approximately 1.75 m before branching. The red lead extends about 5 cm beyond the split and terminates in an 18 cm handgrip with a straight pogo-pin tip. The black lead continues for about 2.0 m to an identical handgrip with a straight pogo-pin tip. This asymmetrical configuration allows measurements between test points spaced farther apart, while maintaining the mechanical stability of a partially joined cable section.

Unlike the L2140 lead set, which combines a pogo-pin tip on the red lead with a crocodile clip on the black lead, both leads of the 9465-11 feature straight pogo-pin tips for precise contact on defined metallic surfaces. Each pogo-pin tip (Ø 2.9 mm) has a coaxial design, with the inner conductor acting as the SENSE line and the outer conductor as the SOURCE line. This minimizes contact resistance and noise, ensuring stable and repeatable low-resistance readings. The spring-loaded mechanism provides a defined contact pressure of approximately 190 g to 250 g at 1 mm stroke, enabling reliable connection on small pads or metallic terminals.
