Product information 9318 - Conversion Cable

The 9318 Conversion Cable is an adapter cable for the 8971 Current Unit and enables the connection of current sensors with a HIOKI PL23 (10-pin) connector. The cable is used together with the 8971 Current Unit. The cable has a length of 38 cm. Depending on the sensor type, additional adapters such as the CT9900 or CT9901 may be required.

It enables precise acquisition of current waveforms using compatible Hioki current sensors connected to dedicated sensor inputs.The module supports simultaneous sampling of up to 1 MS/s across two channels and uses 12-bit A/D conversion for accurate waveform recording. With a frequency bandwidth of DC to 100 kHz (–3 dB), it is suitable for detailed current analysis in power electronics, inverter systems and industrial drive applications.Measurement ranges depend on the connected current sensor and selectable scaling settings. Typical full-scale ranges span from 2 A up to 2000 A depending on the sensor model used. Supported current sensors include: 9272-05, CT6841A, CT6843A, CT6844A, CT6845A, CT6846A, CT6862-05, CT6863-05, CT6872, CT6872-01, CT6873, CT6873-01, CT6875A, CT6875A-1, CT6876A, CT6876A-1, CT6904A, CT6904A-1, CT6904A-2 and CT6904A-3. Sensors are connected via the supplied Conversion Cable 9318.
