Monthly Giveaway – Terms and Conditions
1. Organiser
The giveaway is organised by HIOKI EUROPE GmbH, Helfmann-Park 2, 65760 Eschborn, Germany.

2. Giveaway Period and Monthly Cycle
2.1 Entries may be submitted at any time until 31 December 2026, 23:59 CET.
2.2 Each monthly draw follows the cycle below:
- Closing date: Last calendar day of the month (date of form submission)
- Draw date: 10th of the following month
- Winner announcement: 15th of the following month or the next working day
2.3 Each month constitutes an independent draw. All eligible participants who have an active newsletter subscription at the time of the respective closing date will be included in that month’s draw.
3. Participation and Newsletter Subscription
3.1 All subscribers who have successfully completed the double opt-in (DOI) process are eligible for the giveaway.
3.2 A valid entry requires successful completion of the double opt-in (DOI) confirmation.
3.3 All participants with an active newsletter subscription are automatically eligible for each monthly draw during the giveaway period. Participants are automatically included in subsequent monthly draws while their subscription remains active.
3.4 Each participant may win only once during the entire giveaway period. Participants who have won a prize are excluded from all subsequent monthly draws.
3.5 Participants may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Unsubscribing ends eligibility for future monthly draws but does not affect participation in any draw that has already been completed.
3.6 Participants may request deletion of their personal data at any time in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR. Upon deletion of their data, participation in future monthly draws is no longer possible. Deletion does not affect participation in any draw that has already been completed.
3.7 Entries generated through bots, automated systems, scripts, or other forms of manipulation will be disqualified. HIOKI EUROPE GmbH reserves the right to exclude participants who attempt to interfere with the proper conduct of the giveaway.
4. Eligibility
4.1 Participation is limited to individuals who are residing in the European Union.
4.2 Participation is open to natural persons aged 18 or over who register using their business email address. The prize is awarded to the individual participant.
4.3 Participation requires the use of a business email address. Registrations using public or free email providers (e.g. gmail.com, outlook.com, yahoo.com) are not eligible.
4.4 The giveaway is exclusively intended for B2B contacts.
4.5 Employees of HIOKI CORPORATION or any of its subsidiaries (“HIOKI group companies”), contractors, sales agents, and other representatives of companies that distribute, resell, or promote HIOKI products (“HIOKI partner organisations”), as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
4.6 Verification of eligibility is at the sole discretion of HIOKI EUROPE GmbH.
4.7 Each participant may win only one prize during the entire giveaway period. Once a participant has won, they are no longer eligible for subsequent draws.
5. Prize
5.1 Each month, one of the following prizes will be awarded:
- One (1) HIOKI DT4256 Digital Multimeter (new item), or another comparable HIOKI instrument of equal value, which will be announced prior to the start of the respective monthly participation period.
5.2 The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
6.1 The winner will be selected at random from all eligible participants included in the respective monthly draw.
6.2 The winner will be notified via email.
6.3 If the winner does not respond within 30 days, an alternate winner may be selected.
6.4 The organiser is not responsible for incorrect, incomplete, or unreachable email addresses provided by participants.
6.5 Participants who have already won a prize are excluded from subsequent draws.
7. Prize Delivery
7.1 The prize will be dispatched once the winner has confirmed their shipping address.
7.2 Delivery arrangements will be agreed individually with the winner.
7.3 Prize delivery is limited to addresses within the European Union (EU).
8. Liability
8.1 The organiser is not liable for technical malfunctions, transmission errors, or damages, unless caused by intent or gross negligence. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected.
8.2 The organiser is not responsible for temporary system unavailability or interruptions in data transmission.
9. Data Protection
9.1 Personal data is processed on the basis of consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and/or the performance of obligations arising from the giveaway (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
9.2 Data will be used exclusively for administering the giveaway and for sending the newsletter, based on the participant’s consent.
9.3 Data will only be shared with third parties where necessary for prize delivery (e.g. shipping providers).
9.4 Newsletter communications will only be sent to participants who have expressly opted in.
9.5 Data Retention
a) Newsletter subscribers: Data will be retained for as long as the subscription remains active or until consent is withdrawn.
b) Non-subscribers: Participants who do not complete the DOI process and therefore do not subscribe to the newsletter will not be included in the giveaway. Their data will be deleted no later than six months after submission.
c) Winners: Data will be retained in accordance with applicable statutory retention obligations (up to ten years).
9.6 Participants may withdraw consent for newsletter communications or participation in the giveaway at any time.

10. Amendments and Termination
10.1 The organiser may amend or terminate the giveaway for important reasons.
10.2 All decisions of the organiser are final.
10.3 Legal recourse is excluded.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
