The U8553 High-Speed Voltage Module is a 5-channel plug-in module for the LR8450 Data Logger Series. Up to four U8553 modules can be connected to a single LR8450 or LR8450- 01 Data Logger, allowing users to record high-speed data from up to 20 channels in a single device.
This module supports precise DC voltage measurements with a direct input capacity of up to 100 V. Input signals are connected to the module through an M3 screw terminal block, providing secure connections even for conductors with larger cross-sections. Its 300 V isolation to earth and between channels ensures safe and reliable operation. The U8553 module offers a fast 1 ms update interval across all 5 channels simultaneously, making it ideal for measuring sensor outputs in the tens of Hertz range, such as pressure and vibration signals.
With a 16-bit A/D resolution, the U8553 delivers high-precision data acquisition. The module offers seven measurement ranges, from ±100 mV to ±100 V, ensuring accurate readings across a variety of applications. To measure 4-20 mA signals, a 250 Ω shunt resistor can be used with the 1-5 V range, adding to the module's adaptability
