Detailed Product Overview

The HIOKI IM3570 combines the speed of an LCR meter with the flexibility of an impedance analyzer, covering 4 Hz to 5 MHz. It is designed for both high-throughput component testing in production and detailed analysis tasks in development. With measurement speeds as fast as 0.5 ms at 100 kHz and 1.5 ms at 1 kHz, the IM3570 supports efficient workflows while maintaining high precision. Its basic impedance accuracy of ±0.08%, phase accuracy of ±0.05°, and guaranteed accuracy from 1 mΩ to 200 MΩ, provide reliable results across a wide variety of passive components. 

Versatile and Easy to Use

The instrument supports multiple modes including LCR, which is capable of simultaneously measuring DC resistance, sweep, and continuous measurement. Functions such as comparator and BIN judgments, along with frequency and level sweeps, make it suitable for both automated test systems and laboratory evaluation. The 5.7″ color TFT touchscreen simplifies operation and allows intuitive adjustment of measurement conditions. Interfaces including USB, LAN, RS-232C, GP-IB, and handler I/O provide flexible connectivity for system integration. 

Optional Equivalent Circuit Analysis

For even deeper analysis, the IM9000 Equivalent Circuit Analysis firmware is available. The IM9000 is equipped with five representative equivalent circuit models and can automatically select the most suitable model based on the measurement data. In addition to basic threeelement R-L-C models, it also supports a four-element model designed for piezoelectric device analysis, enabling a wide range of applications from general component characteristics to piezoelectric resonators. The firmware can also generate Nyquist (ColeCole) plots and admittance circle displays. 

The IM9000 must be purchased together with the instrument and cannot be retrofitted later. Customers requiring equivalent circuit analysis should select the bundled product version that includes both the IM3570 and IM9000. This standard IM3570 model does not include the IM9000 firmware. 

Flexible Fixture Ecosystem

A wide range of fixtures enable stable and repeatable connections to different device types. Options include Kelvin clip leads for standard components, direct-connection test fixture for stable measurement of leaded components, and SMD test probes for small surface-mount devices. This fixture ecosystem ensures that the IM3570 can be adapted to the requirements of both development labs and automated production environments.
