Detailed Product OverviewThe SA9002 Test Fixture is an integral component of HIOKI’s SA2634-KIT Slurry Analysis System. It connects to the IM3536 LCR Meter via four BNC terminals and provides secure mounting for the disposable Slurry Sample Containers (SA9001 or SA9001-01) containing the slurry sample.Although part of the SA2634-KIT Slurry Analysis System, the SA9002 can also be purchased separately as a replacement fixture or used independently with other HIOKI LCR Meters, the IM3570 Impedance Analyzer or the IM3590 Chemical Impedance Analyzer in combination with the disposable sample containers. This enables users to build customized measurement setups tailored to their specific evaluation requirements. The SA9002 Test Fixture and the associated sample containers are optimized for use with slurry materials. The nickel- or gold-plated electrode surfaces of the containers ensure stable contact and reproducible impedance results under defined slurry conditions. Use with other pastes or conductive materials may result in different contact characteristics and is not covered by HIOKI specifications.
Detailed Product OverviewThe SA9001-01 is used together with the SA9002 Test Fixture as part of HIOKI’s SA2634- KIT Slurry Analysis System. Each pack contains 50 slurry sample containers (also referred to as electrode cells) for impedance measurement of aqueous (water-based) lithium-ion battery slurries. The gold-plated electrode surfaces provide corrosion-resistant, low-resistance contact optimized for impedance analysis of aqueous slurries. Aqueous slurries are primarily used in the development and production of anode materials such as graphite or silicon-based composites. Since these systems use water as a solvent instead of N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP), they are environmentally safer and require electrodes that maintain stable electrical properties even in the presence of moisture. Gold plating prevents oxidation and ensures consistent measurement results over repeated use in wet environments. Each container holds approximately 1 ml of slurry and is intended for single use to avoid cross-contamination between measurements. When mounted in the SA9002 Test Fixture, it defines the electrode geometry and ensures consistent contact conditions for reproducible impedance measurements. Although part of the SA2634-KIT Slurry Analysis System, the SA9001-01 sample containers can also be purchased separately or used independently with other HIOKI LCR Meters and impedance analyzers in combination with the SA9002 Test Fixture. The containers are optimized for slurry materials; use with other conductive pastes may lead to different contact characteristics and is not covered by HIOKI specifications.

Each pack contains 50 slurry sample containers (also referred to as electrode cells) for impedance measurement of N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP)-based lithiumion battery slurries. The nickel-plated electrode surfaces provide durable, low-resistance contact optimized for impedance analysis of NMP-based slurries. NMP-based slurries are mainly used in the development and production of cathode materials such as Nickel-Cobalt-Manganese (NCM) and Nickel-Cobalt-Aluminum (NCA). The performance of these electrodes strongly depends on the homogeneous dispersion of conductive additives within the slurry. Because NMP effectively dissolves binder materials, it enables uniform dispersion and coating, making impedance characterization a key tool for process optimization.
