More Capacity for Longer Recordings – HIOKI Memory Recorder MR6000 with New 1 TB SSD Capacity

Velizara Lilova · 30.10.2025
Data Acquisition · 3 min. reading duration

Testing in electronics and electrical systems is becoming increasingly complex – and with it, the demands on measurement technology are rising. Engineers are running longer tests and capturing signals at higher sampling rates to reveal every detail. The result: a surge in data volume that demands high-capacity storage and fast processing to keep pace. At the same time, no test run must be lost – reliable data storage is therefore essential, even under challenging conditions.

The MR6000 Memory Recorder already sets the standard for precision and speed. With the new 1 TB SSD Unit U8335, it goes one step further – enabling longer tests and secure, uninterrupted recording from start to finish.

High-Speed Recording Without Limits

Capture more data without interruptions. The U8335 1 TB SSD enables continuous recording at sampling interval up to 20 MS/s for 3.5 hours on 2 channels, or for over 4 hours across 32 channels at 1 MS/s. Throughout the entire test, engineers can rely on the U8335 to capture every single data point with precision – even in long-term and durability tests.

Seamless Recording Without Delays

Because data is written directly to the SSD in real time, there’s no need for separate data transfers – eliminating both the risk of transmission errors and the downtime that off-loading can cause. Temporary storage and lengthy conversion steps are a thing of the past. Once the test is finished, engineers have immediate access to the complete dataset.

Maximum Data Security in Every Test

The U8335 protects irreplaceable test results with robust non-volatile storage, keeping data intact even during unexpected power loss. For long-term or mission-critical testing where repeating experiments is not an option, it ensures that results remain reliable and securely preserved.

Designed for Demanding Industries

The U8335 strengthens the MR6000’s role in challenging test environments. In automotive development, it supports long endurance tests by capturing all parameters needed to evaluate electric, hybrid, and combustion vehicles. In aerospace and defense, it preserves mission data where tests cannot be repeated, and every measurement must be captured the first time. Power electronics engineers benefit from continuous high-speed recording for detailed switching analysis and validation. And in industrial and energy systems, its rugged solid-state design provides the long-term stability required for monitoring under harsh conditions, ensuring data remains secure.

The Benchmark for Data Acquisition is rising with higher storage capacity

The MR6000 has set the benchmark for precision and speed in data acquisition. With the 1 TB SSD Unit U8335, it now enables longer recording, faster analysis, and even greater reliability in protecting critical data. From automotive and aerospace to power electronics, the MR6000 Memory Recorder with U8335 is built to handle large data volumes and deliver consistent results across demanding applications.
