The MR8902 Voltage/Temp Unit is a 15-channel voltage and thermocouple input module for the MR8875 memory recorder, designed for stable multi-point DC voltage and temperature acquisition in demanding industrial environments.
Each of the 15 channels can be individually configured for voltage or thermocouple measurement. With 16-bit A/D conversion and ranges from 500 µV/div up to 5 V/div, the module enables precise low-level signal acquisition across a wide measurement span. Simultaneous channel scanning supports synchronized multi-point monitoring at update rates down to 10 ms.
The unit supports thermocouple types K, J, E, T, N, R, S, B and W, with selectable internal or external reference junction compensation. Internal compensation accuracy is ±0.5°C (added to measurement accuracy). Thermocouple broken-wire detection is integrated and switchable.
High noise immunity supports reliable operation in electrically demanding environments, with a normal mode rejection ratio of ≥50 dB and a common mode rejection ratio up to 140 dB (with digital filter). Selectable 50 Hz or 60 Hz digital filtering enhances measurement stability under industrial mains conditions.
Typical applications include multi-channel temperature profiling, environmental and thermal validation testing, industrial DC signal monitoring, and long-term trend recording in laboratory and field environments.
