With 16-bit A/D conversion and ranges from 500 µV/div up to 5 V/div, the module enables precise low-level signal acquisition across a wide measurement span. Simultaneous channel scanning supports synchronized multi-point monitoring at update rates down to 10 ms. The unit supports thermocouple types K, J, E, T, N, R, S, B and W, with selectable internal or external reference junction compensation. Internal compensation accuracy is ±0.5°C (added to measurement accuracy). Thermocouple broken-wire detection is integrated and switchable. High noise immunity supports reliable operation in electrically demanding environments, with a normal mode rejection ratio of ≥50 dB and a common mode rejection ratio up to 140 dB (with digital filter). The MR8904 CAN Unit is a 2-port CAN interface module for the memory recorder MR8875. It enables acquisition and output of CAN communication signals. The module supports CAN communication according to ISO 11898 and SAE J2411 standards. Each port can be configured for high-speed CAN, low-speed CAN, or single-wire CAN. CAN messages can be received and transmitted, and acknowledgment settings can be configured. Received CAN signals can be converted into analog or logic channels for recording. Up to 15 analog channels (16-bit equivalent) and 16 logic channels can be output. Signal mapping depends on bit length.The module provides ID-trigger functionality and outputs a pulse signal when a specified CAN ID is received.
