Detailed Product Overview
The 9784 DC Power Unit is a factory-installed option for the MR8848 Memory Recorder that enables operation from a DC source instead of the conventional AC mains. With a wide input range of 10 V to 28 V DC, it supports flexible deployment in mobile and off-grid applications.The unit allows the MR8848 to draw power directly from standard 12 V automotive or 24 V
truck batteries, eliminating the need for an external converter or inverter. This makes the
system ideal for field testing in vehicles or environments where stable AC infrastructure is not
available.
The 9784 is integrated during manufacturing and cannot be retrofitted. DC operation is only
supported if the MR8848 is configured with this option at the time of order.
