The HIOKI CM4375-93 Clamp Multimeter PV Kit is designed for professionals who need precise AC/DC current measurement and high DC voltage capability in one package. Combining the HIOKI CM4375-50 with the included Z3210 Bluetooth Adapter and P2010 https://www.hioki.com/euro-en/products/clamp-meters/ac-dc-clamp/id_451384 High Voltage Probe, it is well suited for photovoltaic installations, high voltage batteries, industrial equipment, and EV charging systems. Its narrow jaws accommodate conductors up to 34 mm in diameter, while the compact front end with a jaw cross-sectional minimum dimension of 9.5 mm helps when measurement points are located between closely spaced conductors.

With the included P2010, the instrument can measure up to 2000 V DC in CAT III environments, enabling safe testing of photovoltaic strings and high voltage batteries. Without the P2010, voltage measurement up to 1000 V AC/DC covers industrial installations and general maintenance tasks. True RMS technology ensures accurate results even with distorted waveforms.

Versatile multimeter functions

Beyond current and voltage, the HIOKI CM4375-93 also functions as a versatile multimeter: it measures resistance, capacitance, continuity, diode polarity check, and DC power. In photovoltaic applications, battery systems, and other demanding DC environments, this allows electrical values and power conditions to be checked with one instrument. A K thermocouple such as the optional DT4910 Thermocouple (K) can also be used for temperature measurement. Automatic AC/DC detection and advanced display options such as Max/Min/Avg, PEAK values, filter function, manual/auto hold, and pass/fail judgement simplify daily tasks and save time.

The included L9300 test leads are designed with the user in mind. Their slide type mechanism allows the metal tips to be extended or retracted, making removable caps and the risk of losing them a thing of the past. This simplifies handling and enables a safe switch between short tips for higher CAT ratings and fully extended tips for tight measurement points. The display backlight makes readings easier in poorly lit distribution boards, control cabinets, and service environments. The wide operating temperature range from -25 °C to 65 °C is beneficial for outdoor work and for measurement tasks in installations exposed to higher temperatures.

Bluetooth and safety ratings

The included Z3210 Bluetooth Adapter supports wireless transfer of measured values to a smartphone or tablet. With the free GENNECT Cross app for Android and iOS, measured values can be stored, documented, and prepared directly on site for service reports or later processing. During measurements in photovoltaic or high voltage environments, live values can be viewed on the mobile device even when the instrument display is difficult to read at the measurement point. The app also supports current waveform display as well as harmonic analysis for troubleshooting. In addition, measured values can be transferred directly into Excel or other applications using HID functionality.

The CM4375-93 complies with CAT IV 600 V / CAT III 1000 V, and with the P2010 also supports CAT III 2000 V. Its rugged housing is rated IP54 for dust and splash resistance, ensuring safe operation on construction sites and in harsh outdoor conditions.
