The 8973 Logic Unit is a logic signal measurement module for the memory recorders MR6000, MR6000-01, MR8740T, MR8740, MR8741, MR8827, MR8847A and MR8848. It enables acquisition and analysis of digital logic signals using HIOKI logic probes. The module provides four probe inputs. With HIOKI logic probes providing four measurement channels per probe, up to 16 logic channels can be realized per module.
Multiple logic units can be installed simultaneously to expand the number of digital channels in the measurement system. The module uses mini-DIN connectors for HIOKI logic probes (sold separately), allowing simultaneous monitoring of multiple digital signals. The number of 8973 modules that can be connected depends on the memory recorder model: MR8827 supports up to 2 units, MR8848 up to 3 units, MR6000 up to 8 units, and MR8740T up to 3 units.
